Yes.  At VITAE Educational Consulting, our top priority is providing independent, ethical, and student-centered educational consulting services. This Conflict of Interest Policy ensures that our recommendations and guidance remain objective and transparent.

Our Commitment to Independence

All consultations, reviews, and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) are conducted independently and in the best interest of the student.

Recommendations are based solely on professional expertise, educational standards, and each student’s unique needs.

Referrals to External Providers

We may provide families with referrals to trusted external professionals (e.g., therapists, evaluators, academic specialists). Referrals are informational only and do not constitute endorsements or guarantees.

VITAE Educational Consulting does not receive any fees, commissions, or incentives from referred providers. Families retain full discretion in selecting services.

Separation of Roles

We do not provide both evaluation and ongoing intervention services to the same student when this could compromise objectivity.

Any potential conflicts identified during service will be disclosed promptly to the family.

Employment & Institutional Affiliations

Services are separate from any current or former employment in educational settings.

We do not evaluate students currently under our supervision in other professional roles.

Transparency & Ethical Practice

Any actual or potential conflicts will be disclosed to families immediately.

At VITAE Educational Consulting, we provide independent educational consulting services, which focus on guidance, assessment, and information to help families understand and navigate the educational system. Our services may include:

• Reviewing student records and assessments
• Conducting independent educational evaluations (IEEs)
• Providing data analysis and interpretation
• Advising families on educational options and strategies
• Helping families prepare for meetings and understand IEP/504 plans

We do not provide formal advocacy on behalf of families, which includes representing a family in disputes with a school, filing complaints, or appearing at due process hearings. Advocacy is a separate, legal role, and our consulting services are designed to remain independent, objective, and conflict-free.

Families are empowered with information and professional recommendations, but decisions and actions remain in their hands.
